Structured, Transparent & Merit-Based Admissions

The MBA admission process at Sushila Suryawanshi Management Institute of Technology Advancement follows a structured and transparent approach to ensure fair and merit-based selection of candidates. Admissions are conducted closely following the guidelines and schedules laid out by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State (State CET Cell) and the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra (DTE) under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

Mandatory Requirement: It is mandatory for all aspiring applicants to register and confirm their online application form for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET via the official website portal. Candidates must ensure they meet eligibility criteria and possess all necessary documents as outlined in the State CET Cell information brochure.
For Maharashtra State Candidates

Indian national with a Bachelor’s degree minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories/PWD originating from Maharashtra). Non-zero score in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET required.

All India & Migrant Candidates

Applies to All India categories, UT of Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh Migrants. Requires equivalent degree marks alongside valid national scores in CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, or GMAT.

NRI / OCI / Foreign National

Requires a baseline recognized Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks, subject to standard administrative verifications outlined by standard statutory councils.

Online Registration and Application:

Candidates must register online on the official website (www.mahacet.org) as per the schedule.

  • Candidates registered for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET pay no additional fees for registration.
  • National test takers (CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT) must pay the required processing fee online.
Document Upload and Verification:

Candidates must cleanly scan and upload the required documents during the online application process.

  • E-Scrutiny Mode: Completed 100% online; no physical center visit required.
  • Physical Scrutiny Mode: Document verification handled at designated physical centers.
Application Confirmation:

Candidates must explicitly confirm their application form online or at a Physical Scrutiny Center (based on their chosen verification mode) to ensure inclusion in the Centralized Merit Lists.

CAP (Centralized Admission Process) Rounds:

Candidates submit and lock their digital institute choice option matrix. Seat distribution is handled dynamically based on core merit scores, candidate category allocations, and real-time vacancies.

Reporting and Fee Payment:

Upon seat allotment, candidates must lock their status and process the mandatory Seat Acceptance Fee through the state portal.

  • Report to the allotted institute physically with all original certificates for final verification.
  • Submit required operational academic fees to finalize and secure the enrollment seat.

7. Important Notes & Category Compliances:
  • Reserved category candidates must produce valid Caste, Tribe, and non-creamy layer certificates timely to validate metrics.
  • EWS candidates must provide the eligibility certificate strictly as per the state government’s format.
  • Document verification and confirmation must be completed within the stipulated timelines. Candidates are strongly advised to keep constant track of official notifications and updates on the portal.
